Zine with stroies and interviews from 11 different plant owners. Printed on paper made from recycled scraps with the addition of pieces of grass, leaves, and flowers to give it more of a natural feel and connect to the subject.  Includes more interactive pages involving shining a light through pages and being able to fold out a page in order to imitate ways plants grow and make it more playful. Accompanied by a promotional video.

Branching Out is an expansion on Sun Log, a website documenting my personal experience with different house plants including a description of when I got the plant, what I have learned about it, and general information about the plant and how to take care of it. Throughout the website I use the sun and ideas relating to it to represent growth and fuzzy video imagery to represent memory. Since Sun Log documents my journey with plants, I created Branching Out to learn about other peoples experience with plants.
